Each semester, seniors at Reed College finish their theses and have a parade through the library to the registrar's office. There is much popping of champage at 3 in the afternoon (if not earlier). The frigid temperatures didn't keep the graduating seniors and anyone else looking to party away from the library entrance bonfire. I took some pictures and wished I'd brought my Nikon D100 & good glass instead of my point-and-shoot.
Day 305: I've got an xtracycle and 2 inch heels, originally uploaded by Anomalily.

I drank caffeine at an evening meeting and spent my bike ride home singing "I've got an xxxxttttracycle and two inch heels.... I've got an xxxtttttracycle and three inch heels...."

Today was one of those days where I was struck by how utterly insane my schedule is:
Wake up at 6:20
Ride 8 miles to Reed at 7:20
Spend 20 minutes on email/schoolwork before
starting work at Reed Library at 8:30
Ride to work at BTA at 11:00
Ride to City Hall for meeting at 2PM
Walk to PDC for Rose Quarter Stakeholder Advisory Committee Meeting at 5PM
Go back to work at the BTA at 7:20
Ride home from BTA at 8PM

...And now, here I am at home, and I still have at minimum 5 hours of schoolwork to do. I'm incredibly glad that this will be over late next week and I can go to a slightly less insane only semi-over-committed schedule.
