Detour on Esplanade for Cyclists June 15-18

Plan your rides appropriately.
Bike traffic on the Eastbank Esplanade between the Hawthorne Bridge and SE Caruthers Street will be temporarily detoured to SE Water Avenue Monday, June 15, through Thursday, June 18, 2009.
In preparation for the Portland-Milwaukie Light Rail Project’s new bridge over the Willamette River, crews will be collecting geotechnical samples along the riverbank using heavy equipment.
Cyclists can dismount and walk through the work zone, but we recommend following the detour route instead to avoid delays.

It was as though Theo was a ghost in my bed when I woke up: I didn't remember him climbing out of it at all and barely could remember if I simply dreamt that he had crawled in last night.
A morning at P:EAR was followed by a vastly unproductive day at work spent mostly fixing problems with my computer. Once that was finally done, it was time to go staff the IPRC. Shawn also thought he was staffing the IPRC, so I finished up my project and left him to round out the shift. I was exhausted, trailing home at 5 mph, but somehow by the time I got home I had renewed energy. I started drinking coffee out of one hand and beer out of the other and finally wrapped up working on the WNBR at 5AM. Then, I crawled into bed for 2.5 hours of sleep before my conference call.
